A Tribute to Craig Johnson

The IBM i community is unique in the IT industry. It's a community that transcends our jobs, servers, or software. It's a community expressed through passion and commitment, shared life experiences, and the joys of friendship. Craig was at the epicenter of our community. No doubt many of you have seen his blog on the web or his presentations at COMMON and other user groups and events in more than 45 countries around the world. Just a few weeks ago, IBMers and business partners gathered in the deep January snows of Rochester, Minnesota, to prepare for our recent POWER7 launch. Craig emceed the event with his unique humor, joyfully sprinkling the audience with candy-which he always liked to throw in return for questions-leaving us all uplifted and renewed. He truly was at the top of his profession, in complete command of his subject, and enjoying the utmost respect of his friends and colleagues.
