Ambitious policy for clean air

The Port of Barcelona has launched a pioneering plan that aims to effectively reduce emissions from Port activities. The Clean Air Action Plan is an ambitious programme that involves 25 actions rolled out in 53 operations. Barcelona is thus consolidating its role as a green Port by promoting LNG as an alternative fuel for vessels and road freight, offering an ambitious policy of discounts for cleaner ships and replacing the Port's internal fleet with electric vehicles.
