Developing ports in North Africa are attracting the interest of ever more large shipping companies. Hapag-Lloyd is now also entering the segment in Morocco, with the Hamburg-based company acquiring shares in a subsidiary of Marsa Maroc, the operating company of Morocco's ports that was established in 2006.
