Our latest discussions with Luca Abatello, the chief executive officer of Circle, revealed that the Italian corporation, which specialises in process and management consultancy services as well as in technological solutions for the transport industry, is once again supporting an international European Union project that focuses specifically on improving the overall connec- tivity of North Africa's Maghreb region. A project connecting Casablanca and La Spezia, entitled 'international secure and fast trade links', is set to enter its live phase in spring this year. The ambitious target is thus to establish overall technical interoperability between Morocco's 'Port Net' single window facility and players in the Italian supply chain.
