Three of a kind in Livorno, Genua and Trieste

Rapid and data-based handling of large freight volumes in ports is becoming mandatory. Terminals in Livorno, Genoa and Trieste are set to go live with the new terminal operating system from Circle shortly. The digitalisation of the logistics industry is not only causing unease with many decision-makers, it is also resulting in solution providers being spoilt for choice. Compagnia Impresa Lavoratori Portuali (CILP), a port and logistics operator, is relying on the terminal operating system from Circle, which was developed on the basis of the Milos software suite, for its supply chain at the multipurpose terminal at the port of Livorno. "We have worked more than 1,000 man-days on the project over the past 18 months," revealed Luca Abatello, CEO of Circle.
