The airfreight world met at the 25th Air Cargo Forum in Amsterdam from 2-4 November. ITJ editor Andreas Haug was on the scene and established that Tiaca, lata, Fiata and GSF are all sitting in the same Grachtenboat. Not all of the 5,000 visitors from all comers of the world that were expected to attend Tiaca's 25th Air Cargo Forum (ACF) found their way to Amsterdam. Nevertheless, the venue was regarded as spot-on by over 200 exhibitors. It is easy to get to the city's airport, which is one of the four largest freight hubs in Europe (see page 17). Schiphol Cargo used the ACF to showcase its logistics potential, which is to be extended to cover the intermodal sector in coming years, to the general public.
