Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific Airways has appointed Cecilia Leung as its general manager for corporate communication, as successor to C K Yeung, who will become special advisor to the COO on the same date. Prior to taking up her current position, Leung was Dragonair's general manager of in-flight services and of international affairs, and also worked as a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers. Leung joined the Cathay Pacific group in 2000, and has managed in-flight services in Cathay Pacific Airways' strategic planning division and headed Cathay Holidays Limited.
