Ronald Paul has been named as the new chief operating officer and director of infrastructure and maritime affairs at the port of Rotterdam authority with effect from 1 September. Paul will succeed Thessa Menssen, who is joining the construction company Royal BAM as CFO. Paul, who moved to the port authority in 1985, has been director of the Maasvlakte 2 container handling expansion project since 2004.
