Francois Lambert has been named to the new post of director of procurement and financial affairs at the port of Dunkirk. He formerly worked in the transport ministry in Paris, supporting Frederic Cuvillier and Alain Vidalies, amongst others. In May 2012 he took charge of deepsea and inland shipping activities there, as well as ports. Lambert also participated in the government's initiative to revitalise business activity in the country's hubs. In the Grand port maritime de Dunkerque he will manage procurement and the budget and finances, in line with the port's overall business strategy.
