Laminating Methods for Thermoplastic Hot Melt Adhesives

One aim of leading producers (OEM) of original spare parts is to improve passenger cell climate by reducing fogging levels. To this end, flame-coated laminates are increasingly to be replaced by hot melt coatings. Another factor is requirements imposed by the European Community which lay down a steadily increasing proportion of recyclable material in the disposal of end-of-life vehicles. The best solution here is offered by mono-material (PET) polyester composites bonded with copolyesters. To meet the growing demand for laminates there is a need for efficient coating and laminating machines.
