China - Myanmar railway accord signed

CHINA Railway Eryuan Engineering Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Myanmar Railways for a feasibility study of a standard-gauge railway from the border town of Muse to Myanmar's second-largest city Mandalay. The study will include environmental impact and social assessments of the project and is due to be completed within two years.
