Major RV winch monitoring upgrade

Seattle, Washington, USA-headquartered Measurement Technology NW (MTNW) has announced a major award from the US National Science Foundation (NSF) and the US University-National Oceanographic Laboratory System (UNOLS) to upgrade winch monitoring technology across 15 federally funded research vessels. The company said the award brings new MTNW hardware and software technology to the support of winch operations, which is mission critical to the research vessels.
