Marine Electronics, UK, has launched a new 2D imaging sonar developed especially for ROVs/AUVs. The Guernsey-based company said the new Dolphin See View is a 700kHz system that has evolved from its existing Dolphin 3001 model but has introduced a number of key advantages. "Notable among these are its compact size and light weight which will make it an ideal choice for use in small ROVs/AUVs as well as for other applications on surface craft," said Marine Electronics.
