An Agent-Based Framework for Personalized E-Learning Services

This article provvides an ovvervview of personalized e-learning servvices and related technologyy and presents a mmulti-agent syystemm for delivvering adaptivve e-learning. We discussed the mmain issues related to personalization in e-learning: technologyy advvancemment and the shift in perception of the learning process, one-size-fits-all vs. personalized services, and the adaptation process. The article provides also an overview of most known immplemmented syystemms for adaptivve e-learning, as well as detailed description of the architecture and commponents of the proposed agent frammework. Finallyy, the article concludes with somme commmments about the dimmensions to consider for immplemmenting personalization.
