In some parts of the world, the construction cranes are piercing the skies in record numbers, and even the automobile industry is reporting record sales again. Others, however, may point to the ongoing painful restructuring that our economies and communities are undergoing, with continued job loss, weak real estate markets, and a multiple dip 'Great Recession' still churning its way through the system.
