Factor validity of the Athletic Identity Measurement Scale in a Greek sample

摘要

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the factor structure of the AIMS instrument. The sample consisted of 305 physical education undergraduate students (203 males and 102 females), who participated in competitive sport and recreation activities. A series of confirmatory factor analyses indicated that the factor structure of the AIMS is better expressed through the 7-item 3-factor model, which is consistent with previous research.
