GUEST EDITORS' INTRODUCTION

摘要

Security Engineering is the application of scientific and mathematical principles to practical ends such as the design, manufacture, and operation of efficient and economical processes and systems which minimize the risk of business assets or the profession of or the work performed by a security engineer. Security Engineering is closely related to various fields of study such as information engineering, computer science, mathmatics, construction engineering, law and ethics. Among the related fields of study, this special issue focuses on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering. By providing practical and interdisciplinary research results of Security Engineering, this special issue would solve the difficult problems that security engineers easily faces in business environments when they try to solve security problems of information systems.
