PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem that a conventional commodity introduction robot: cannot recommend a preferential commodity that is a commodity to be preferentially introduced by the robot, and cannot perform intentional introduction presentation wherein the preferential commodity is highlighted. PSOLUTION: This commodity introduction robot has: a preferential commodity definition means defining the preferential commodity that is the commodity to be preferentially introduced; a commodity candidate selection means searching a commodity information database to select a plurality of commodity candidates to be introduced, on the basis of a demand item of a visitor; and an intentional dealing means performing dealing output such that the robot recommends the preferential commodity when the preferential commodity is included in the selected commodity candidates.
