Software today, directly or indirectly, plays a very large role in our lives, and the recent decades bear witness to our shift from the simple use of software to our current dependence on it. We rely extensively on software for the well-being and the protection of our assets. Even safety and mission critical domains such as nuclear reactor management and space exploration, where virtually no room for errors, actively employ software today. Consequently, the research area of software risk assessment has also increased greatly in importance, to ensure that any service provided by our software can be justifiably trusted.
