Intelligent data analysis and information processing aims to solve the issues and challenges related to the research and applications of artificial intelligence techniques in data analysis and information processing across a variety of disciplines and domains. The intention of this special issue is to provide researchers an opportunity to offer an outlook on possible approaches and solutions to the problems ranging from text analysis, crowd simulation to intelligent transportation.
