A review of the current research status of China's ancient logistics

Although the concept of 'logistics' is exotic, 'the flow of things' has existed in ancient China. In recent years, many scholars have devoted themselves to the research of China's ancient logistics and have achieved fruitful results. These achievements have focused on the research on the transportation and storage of Chinese ancient logistics. This article is divided into four parts to summarise the literature research status of China's ancient logistics transportation, logistics storage, regional logistics, logistics management thought and management system and gives a brief overview of the cost control of ancient logistics, ancient military logistics, ancient reverse logistics and so on. The evaluation of the current research status of China's ancient logistics has been made and it is believed that although the study has some reference significance, it is still not systematic, so it is necessary to strengthen the research on the ancient logistics in China.
