If Iraq's Saddam Hussein were still alive he would call David Kaiser's The Road to Dallas: The Assassination of John F. Kennedy the "mother of conspiracy theories." Its 500 pages weave back to the 1950s when began a series of half-hearted United States-inspired and-supported murder plots to kill Cuban leader Fidel Castro. The plans alleged by Kaiser become intertwined with later plots to assassinate President John F. Kennedy. It's confusing. Assassins are everywhere, talking up their plans, or speculating about others who are planning to kill Castro or Kennedy or whichever.
