The Security Intelligent Enterprise

摘要

Since time immemorial security political threats and their derivate risks have constituted a matter of intense scrutiny for states and economies. The institutional development of threat and risk analysis in recent history had its genesis with the growth of state security organizations. Since the end of the Cold War and the attendant closure of the bipolar discipline pervading that long-enduring, global conflict-but in particular due to the ensuing diversification of the threats-the necessity of a security political risk analysis for enterprises today is evident. Since the attacks of 11 September 2001 (9/11) especially, terrorism-related problems have come to influence all sectors of public life, from state to non-state organizations, up to and including the private sector itself.
