As a new way to realize ambitious innovation goals, companies increasingly enter into alliances and project consortia to be able to develop, combine and integrate the knowledge that is necessary for (radical) innovations that will create our future world. Radical innovations are needed to overcome the current worldwide (economical, financial and environmental) crises. We refer to processes to create such radical innovations in trans-organizational networks or systems networked innovation.
