Meanwhile, EVN has signed an agreement with the Government of Cambodia to undertake feasibility studies for the construction of two hydropower projects on the Sesan river in the northwest of Cambodia. The output would be sold to local consumers and exported to Vietnam. The capacity of the proposed Lower Sesan-1 project is projected at 90 MW, while the Lower Sesan-2 project in Ratanakiri province has 420 MW of proposed capacity.
