Conveyor systems to facilitate RCC placement

As RCC becomes increasingly popular worldwide for the construction of large dams, including some of the major projects in Africa and Asia, materials handling equipment assumes particular importance, to ease the placement process. Equipment supplied recently for the Neckartal dam in Namibia, and the Susu dam for the Ulu Jelai hydro scheme in Malaysia, illustrates some of the recent developments. STM of Italy specializes in the engineering and supply of belt conveyor systems for bulk materials handling facilities. In the field of RCC dams, STM has developed equipment for the whole material handling process, for conveying the aggregates to the cooling and batching plant, and also for transporting the RCC from the batching plant to the dam site.
