As construction and real estate costs increase, maximizing the use of a warehouse or distribution center's space becomes increasingly important. The challenge with most facilities is to create a highly efficient material conveyor system to accommodate the growing number of products that are being shipped to an increasing number of destinations, all from within a compact building space.This is achieved through the integration of automated material handling technologies and by utilizing as much vertical space in the building as possible. Critical to the success of this arrangement is the use of strategically located structural mezzanines to support multi-level conveyor systems.
