UK's largest subsidy-free solar plant is commissioned

Further to the announcement on 14 November last year, NextEnergy Solar Fund recently announced the commissioning of Staughton, the UK's largest subsidy-free solar plant, with an installed capacity of 50 MWp. The Staughton solar plant will cover the annual electricity demand of approximately 15 000 households. It is largely located on a former airfield on the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire border.
