International Journal of Human Capital and Information Technology Professionals (IJHCITP) is a scholarly journal aimed at studying different issues regarding the importance of IT personnel for IT industry. According to Kaplan, Khan, and Roberts (2012), the right technology talent can be hard to find. This phenomenon is also known as the war for talent (Colomo-Palacios, Ruano-Mayoral, Soto-Acosta, & Garcia-Crespo, 2010). And as a consequence of this, the development of intellectual capital of corporations represents one of the most significant challenges for today's managers and one of the most fertile fields for business innovation, human resource management and education research (Casado-Lumbreras, Garcia-Crespo, Colomo-Palacios, &Gomez-Berbis,2010).
