Cat Wars: the devastating consequences of a cuddly killer

Before plunging into my critique of this book that has provoked furious responses from enraged cat lovers, I should enter a kind of explanation. In Canada's 2015 federal elections, I was an Animal Alliance/Environment Voters Party candidate. I love cats. I should also state that I live with Snoopy and Chanel, two indoor cats. I have helped trap, neuter and adopt out two feral cats: a male who lives indoors and a female who runs free, because her adoptive family decided that would be best for her.
