摘要

The accumulation of heavy metals (HM) in agricultural soils leads to an increased uptake by plants. This affects food quality and safety. This paper reports experiments on the effects of nickel (Ni) applications and soil moisture conditions (SMC) on Ni, nitrogen (N), phosphorous (P), potassium (K) and sodium (Na) concentrations and the uptake by canola in two different soil textures. The average translocation factors (TF) of canola under water deficit conditions were higher than those under normal conditions. In general, canola has weak ability to translocate Ni towards the aboveground parts of the plant. This point may be useful in the application of fertilisers to the soils when canola is planted or in the phytoremediation of Ni-polluted soils.
