摘要

In the era of the 21 st century, Artificial Intelligence (AI) approaches and methodologies are being employed by a continuously increasing wide range of scientists, towards modeling distinct hither to intractable problems. This special Issue comprises of eleven (11) selected papers from the 8th AIAI 2012 International conference (Artificial Intelligence Applications and Innovations) which was held in Halkidiki Greece and it was supported by the working Group 12.5 of the IFIP.
