Lean Construction Institute: Partners with the Associated Schools of Construction in Support of Construction Education

The Lean Construction Institute (LCI) is a new member of the Associated Schools of Construction (ASC). Our decision to join the ASC organization is but the latest in a long line of programs and activities in which LCI has been involved with the objective of engaging the educational community and promoting use of Lean tools and techniques in the academic setting and ultimately across our industry. Education and learning are very much a part of LCI's organizational DNA. In its early days LCI assumed a think-tank type structure and impacting the academic environment was an important goal. Learning opportunities remain a major pillar of our board-directed committee activities, with constantly-evolving programs being presented in our local Communities of Practice, national meetings and seminars, webinars, etc.
