STEPS: a software tool-set for automated protocol synthesis

Protocol synthesis is an important alternative to the classical de- sign process based on reachability analysis where the fundamental drawback is the exponential growth of reachable states. In order to demonstrate the usefulness and feasibility of the protocol synthesis approach we presented in [1], we have developed a software tool-set for automated protocol synthesis called STEPS which supports our synthesis approach. The aim of this paper is to present the function- ality and an experimentation of STEPS.
