The UK's Department of Energy and Climate Change has approved building a 900-MW combined cycle gas turbine in Lincolnshire, but it has some green strings attached.rnUS-based power plant developer InterGen applied in April 2009 for government approval for a 900-MW expansion of its 860-MW Spalding gas-fired power plant in Lincolnshire.
