CNOOC takes GDF Suez FLNG

China National Offshore Oil Corp. signed a cooperation agreement with France's GDF Suez covering LNG, GDF Suez said October 31."Through this agreement GDF Suez will supply CNOOC with a shuttle and regasification vessel to be used as a floating storage and regasification unit in China," GDF Suez said, describing it as a medium-term deal, but providing no financial details.This follows the recent signing of a cooperation framework agreement with a separate company, Beijin Gas Group, which covers several fields of cooperation such as natural gas, LNG or energy services, said GDF Suez, whose CEO Gerard Mestrallet was visiting Beijing.
