Santos and GDF Suez scrap Bonaparte FLNG development plans

Australia-based Santos and French oil and gas major GDF Suez have scrapped plans to develop the Bonaparte FLNG project off the coast of Northern Australia, Santos said in a statement on Thursday. Alternative development concepts including the building of a pipeline from the Petrel, Tern and Frigate gas fields to Darwin which would, in turn, feed a proposed LNG plant would now be examined, said Santos.
