Barclays has named 77m Luke as vice-chairman and managing director in its technology, media and telecommunications investment banking team in New York. He was previously a senior adviser on business, innovation and trade to British Prime Minister David Cameron, a role he held for three years. Before that he was with Barclays and Lehman Brothers in New York. Barclays has also appointed Anuj Mathur as a director in the TMT group in Menlo Park, California. He joins from Deutsche Bank.
