Europe's leveraged loan market is showing signs of overheating as increased competition among lenders continues to affect the syndicated loan market, according to a Loan Market Association survey. The LMA surveyed professionals working in the German syndicated loan market as part of the run-up to its Frankfurt Seminar held on Wednesday. Of the respondents, 48% said the European leveraged loan market was on its way to overheating, with 25.2% saying the market was already operating in over-aggressive ways.
