Credit Suisse picks man from the Pru

Credit suisse has been plunged into months of strategic uncertainty, with employees -especially those within its investment bank - privately voicing their concern about what their future will be once Tidjane Thiam takes over as CEOfrom Brady Dougan in June. The Ivorian comes from Prudential, where over the past five years as CEO he was successful in expanding the insurer's Asia operations. It now makes up half of the UK-headquartered group's profits. Under Thiam's management, Prudential's share price has more than trebled.
