Jumbo list dominates

A massive list of bonds circulating in the secondary market last week distracted traders, partly because it is not being conducted as a normal BWIC and so does not have the fixed timetable that such lists typically have. The list contains 54 bonds with an original value of €4.18bn, and has paid down to around €863m. Bid lists typically get sent out to trade at a set time, and point potential purchasers are also asked to ensure their bids hold good for a certain amount of time - two hours is common.
