A first-day drop of as much as 24% in newly listed cofco meat has left angry investors pointing the finger at Morgan Stanley for its role on a block trade that revalued the sector. The Chinese pork producer, part of the state-owned Cofco group, made a dismal Hong Kong debut last Tuesday after raising HK$1.95bn (US$252m) from an IPO.
