Wuxi construction and development investment braved a shaky market ahead of the UK vote on EU membership to print a well-received debut offering of US dollar bonds. The Chinese property developer sold US$300m of three-year bonds, priced at Treasuries plus 240bp, 20bp tighter than earlier guidance. Syndicates on the issue said the roadshows went well and received strong anchor orders from Chinese investors. Even though many investors had stayed on the sidelines over fears of the UK leaving the EU, there was enough domestic support to get the deal done.
