For all the panicky headlines last week about the end of the world in junk bonds, the sector isn't really in bad shape at all. On Thursday alone, spreads recovered one-third of their retreat from the previous couple of weeks. And even as outflows soared to more than US$4.4bn in the US - the fourth-largest one-week outflow on record - investors kept their cool.
