Banking giant WESTPAC has sold a A$645m (US$481m) block of shares in investment management company BT Investment Management, priced at the top of the range. Westpac sold 60m shares at A$10.75 each, or a 10% discount to the 30-day VWAP. The block was marketed at a price range of A$10.25-$10.75 per share. Following the sell-down, Westpac's stake in BTIM fell to 10% from 29%. Westpac intends to sell the remaining 10% in the future.
