BNP Paribas backs digital to lift CIB returns

Bnp paribas is to accelerate plans to digitise more functions in its corporate and institutional bank to achieve ambitious targets to take €900m of annual costs out of the business over the next three years. BNP Paribas said it wants to reduce CIB's costs-to-income ratio by eight percentage points to around 64% by 2020.
