Alibaba Group founder Jack Ma's online finance firm, ant financial services croup, is tapping the offshore markets for a US$3bn loan. Ant is in talks with a group of nine banks, mainly investment banks, to raise a five-year bullet loan. Price talk indicates all-in pricing in the 150bp-200bp range. The combined indicated commitments from the nine banks are likely to exceed the target size as banks are keen to lend amid the lack of deal flow.
