The world bank visited the US dollar market for the first time this fiscal year on Wednesday, and healthy demand meant it could set final terms on a US$5bn three-year 2bp inside IPTs. The World Bank's borrowing programme for FY 2019 started on July 1. Despite relying on dollars as the main pillar of its funding activities, the issuer had not issued a public benchmark since November last year.
