S&P makes cuts in global criteria group

Rating agency s&p has laid off a number of people in its global criteria group as part of broader cuts at the firm, according to two sources familiar with the matter. Twelve people from the group were let go and their positions eliminated, bringing the total laid off to more than 20, one of the sources told IFR.
