Fees jump for DCM and ECM

Investment grade corporate debt issuance in the US market hit a record US$1.4trn last year, up 5% on the year and helping global debt capital markets activity top US$7trn for the second straight year. DCM issuance reached USS7.2trn last year, down 0.2% from 2016, after a slow final quarter to the year, when issuance fell 18% from the previous quarter, according to Thomson Reuters data.
